Medical Student Outcomes
The United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) is a three-step examination for medical licensure in the US. These three exams – Step 1, Step 2 CK, and Step 2 CS – are required for advancement and graduation. As of September 2017, we are proud to share Step 1 scores from our inaugural Class of 2018.

Meet the Admissions Team
Jean Shelton, MS
Assistant Dean for Admissions and Student Life
As assistant dean for admissions and student life, Jean is responsible for all aspects of recruitment, admissions, and matriculation. When students begin at WMed, they will continue to see Jean in her work with student events like the White Coat Ceremony, Match Day, and graduation. Jean also oversees the 40+ student interest groups and organizations along with assisting in career and personal advising. Prior to her role as an assistant dean, Jean was the founding director of admissions at WMed. She brings 10 years of experience in medical and healthcare admissions experience.
